Due to the deployment of the new version Communote will be unavailable for maintenance on Thursday, July 1st between 6-8 pm CET.

The new version contains significant changes in the administration area, e.g. the creation of user groups and license purchase option.
Communote remains free up to 10 users. Starting from July 1st 2010 user credits will be charged if you are using Communote with more than 10 active users. For the month of July 2010, you will automatically receive free credits for each active user in your system. Credits can be easily purchased through the administration area in Communote starting at maximum 1 € per User (excl. VAT) and month or even less if you purchase larger amounts of credits.

From July 1st 2010 Communote will be available for download at www.communote.com for installation within your company (Windows/Linux).

Right in time for discuss & discover fair in munich Communardo present a brand new release of the Enterprise Microblogging Service Communote. It provides an improved webinterface and mobile access for iPhone, Java application for Blackberry and other Smartphones. Communote can now be integrated in Collaboration Portals like Microsoft Office SharePoint Server and Atlassian Confluence.
Also our Communote website got a relaunch.

With the new release Communote is commercially available from now on. The Pricing is 1 € per user per month for online service and license fees for installation behind the firewall starts at 1000 €. Communote remains free for up to 10 user with full functionality.

We are going to launch the beta of Communote’s enterprise version for use in companies and institutions at the Microblogging conference MBC09 on Friday.

The enterprise account allows companies to set up their own microblogging universe: invite and activate your collegues to your Communote. Create and share an unlimited number of microblogs: e.g. for each topic/project/unit one microblog with its own rights management settings.

The enterprise version comes with LDAP support, user management and all the useful functions from the personal version: tagging, filtering and secure RSS.

You will need an activation code to access the beta. You can grab one at mbc09 and start trying enterprise microblogging with Communote immediately after verification. We will need to use these codes to control the server load in the early phases of operations.
