Awareness through microinformation

This was the title of our presentation (in German) today at GeNeMe08, an academic forum on communities and new media held in Dresden/Germany today. The focus of the joint presentation of Martin Böhringer and myself was on the possible uses of microblogs in order to improve the information communication in projects teams. We also presented how blogs, micromessaging and tagging have influenced the developement of our new microblogging service communote.com.

During the presentation we also showed communote.com in public for the first time. We demonstrated how communote can be used in projects, sales or IT management. We will be presenting more in the coming days.
